On September 28, the Small Business Roundtable Board was pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 "BC's Most Small Business Friendly Community Awards".

The Board's co-chair, MLA Kevin Krueger presented the awards to the following communities:

• Ladysmith  (Vancouver Island / Coast)
• Surrey  (Mainland / Southwest)
• Kamloops  (Thompson - Okanagan)
• Rossland  (Kootenay)
• Quesnel  (Cariboo)
• Prince Rupert  (North Coast) 

Congratulations to the winners, many who are shown below during the award ceremony held in Vancouver.

The Small Business Roundtable would like to recognize the ten finalist for the 2011 "Most Small Business Friendly Community Award".  These communities were selected for clearly demonstrating leadership in supporting existing small businesses and attracting new ones to their community.
