Randy Richmond started his manufacturing career in 1988 working in a family window business, Allan Windows, which grew to North America’s largest residential high-rise window company.
In 1999 he left Allan Windows and moved his family to Nelson, BC for his chance to grow his own company from the ground up.
Randy and his partner formed Spearhead Inc which is a leading edge, design driven, wood and Steel structures and millwork company. Spearhead works on some of the most high-profile residential and boutique commercial buildings throughout the world.
Randy has since stepped down from Spearhead operations, but continues to mentor the leadership team to help carry the company forward into the next generation.
In 2023 Randy has partnered up again to help build a small niche cannabis company, Paradise Valley Botanics. Randy has previously sat on the Nelson and Area Economic Development Board.
He is currently on a committee to build a non-profit world class climbing gym in Nelson, BC and also volunteers for many local outdoor events. Currently, he is putting on a local mountain challenge on the Day of Reconciliation to help raise money and bring awareness to aboriginal concerns.
When not at work, you’ll likely find Randy trail running through his local Kootenay Mountains or travelling the world for running adventures elsewhere. Randy Resides in Nelson, B.C., where he and his wife have raised 3 wonderful children.
