WHAT WE DO:

Champion Small Business Interests - Small business are an important contributor to the economic well-being of the province, accounting for 98% of business and 56% of private sector jobs in B.C. The Roundtable supports organizations, initiatives and programs that foster an entrepreneurial culture. Enhance B.C.'s Small Business Climate - In our annual report the Roundtable’s details its activities and recommendations that helps small business thrive and expand.

Engaging in an Ongoing Dialog with Small Business - With the help of public consultations, Twitter conversations on #BCBizChat and #SmallBizBC the Roundtable works to better understand business issues and opportunities, which are often unique to the region where they were identified.

WHAT'S NEW:

The Roundtable invites local governments to apply for the 2013 "Open for Business Award" - Up to 20 awards of $10,000 each will be provided to communities which best demonstrate planned initiatives that are within the spirit of the B.C. Province announces the Small Business Accord - Through consultation with the small business community and with the assistance of the Small Business Roundtable, the province has developed principles and actions to support small business. Click here to learn more: Small Business Accord
